there’s a beautiful photo series floating around out there called “imprints” that shows the various imprints clothing left on a womans body. It caught my attention and stuck with me until I made this blog. the reason being that it, like many other photo series about desexualizing the female form, featured a white woman.
I think it’s our turn now to desexualize our bodies. demonstrate that while our bodies can be hard, strong and tough, we can also be soft - like white women are typically portrayed in stark contrast to our representation as wild sexual savages.
anyway, here’s my impression of “imprints” on my coloured skin.
BLACK = I would date you.
GREEN = I think you’re cute.
BLUE = You are my tumblr crush.
GREY = I wish you would notice me.
PURPLE = I don’t talk to you but I really love your blog.
TEAL = We have a lot in common.
YELLOW = I don’t know you at all.
ORANGE = I don’t like your blog.
BROWN = I don’t like you.
PINK = I think you are unattractive.
RED = I hate you with a burning passion.
WHITE = hEY YOu, Yes You. I wanT 2 Eat UR ASS
RAINBOW = BED PLZ.
